Commodity Exchange and Supply Chain Limited (CESCL) (“Commex Africa”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), may be cancelled.
By using the Platform, all users (buyers and sellers) agree to this Cancellation Policy.
1. GENERAL POLICY
Commex Africa operates a
B2B commodity marketplace and supply-chain facilitation platform.
Cancellations are limited due to the nature of commodities, logistics, and third-party services.
Cancellation approval depends on:
- Transaction stage
- Type of service or commodity
- Seller agreement
- Third-party involvement
2. CANCELLATION OF COMMODITY ORDERS
a. Before Order Confirmation
- Buyers may request cancellation before seller confirmation or dispatch
- Cancellation approval is subject to seller consent
- Administrative fees may apply
b. After Order Confirmation
- Once an order is confirmed, cancellation is not guaranteed
- Seller may impose cancellation penalties
- Logistics or inspection fees already incurred are non-refundable
c. After Dispatch
- Orders cannot be cancelled once commodities have been dispatched
3. SERVICE CANCELLATION
The following services may be cancelled
only before commencement:
- Verification Services
- Quality Control & Inspection Services
- Data Processing & Analysis
- Sourcing & Procurement Services
- Product Development & Marketing Services
- Advertisement & Promotion Services
Once a service has commenced,
cancellation is not permitted and fees are non-refundable.
4. SUBSCRIPTION / MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
- Users may cancel subscriptions at any time
- Cancellation prevents future billing
- Previously paid fees are non-refundable
- Access remains active until the end of the billing cycle (if applicable)
5. SELLER-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS
Sellers may cancel orders only if:
- Buyer fails to meet payment obligations
- Force majeure events occur
- Legal or regulatory issues prevent fulfillment
Frequent seller cancellations may lead to:
- Reduced platform visibility
- Penalties
- Account suspension or termination
6. COMMEX AFRICA-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS
Commex Africa reserves the right to cancel:
- Transactions involving fraud or misrepresentation
- Listings that violate platform rules
- Orders affected by regulatory or security risks
- Services where required information is not provided
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Cancellations involving:
- Logistics providers
- Inspectors
- Warehousing services
- Payment processors
are subject to
third-party cancellation terms.
Commex Africa is not responsible for third-party cancellation decisions.
8. HOW TO REQUEST A CANCELLATION
Cancellation requests must:
- Be submitted in writing
- Include transaction reference details
- Be sent to commex.africa@gmail.com
- Be made before dispatch or service commencement
Late requests may be declined.
9. CANCELLATION EFFECTS
Approved cancellations may result in:
- Partial refunds (where applicable)
- Deduction of administrative or service fees
- No refund where services have already started
